About Greg Cameron, Psychologist
I’m a registered psychologist based in Sydney with over 20 years of experience in the field of psychology, working with adults and adolescents. I have a particular focus on supporting individuals recovering from complex trauma and associated conditions, drawing on a trauma-informed and relational approach that emphasises safety, trust, and compassion.
Treatment is guided by best-practice, phase-based principles, beginning with stabilisation and emotional regulation, followed by trauma processing, and finally supporting reconnection, resilience, and growth. This approach helps clients regulate their nervous system, make sense of their experiences, and rebuild a stronger sense of self and connection.
I’m also an ANZAED Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician, specialising in Binge Eating Disorder (BED) and related emotional and behavioural patterns. In addition, I support clients with ADHD using a neurodiversity-affirming approach that fosters self-understanding and acceptance.
I draw on a range of evidence-based therapies including CBT, Schema Therapy, ACT, DBT, and the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), integrating polyvagal-informed principles to promote safety and emotional regulation.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing begins within a safe, supportive, and authentic relationship. My goal is to help clients move beyond survival patterns, reconnect with their authentic selves, and create lives guided by stability, meaning, and self-compassion.
